The members of the team will take care of closely looking at the property’s chain of title which can date back in some cases more than 50-60 years. They will also make sure there are no liens, encumbrances or easements on the property.  They will check that taxes are paid up to date. Site visits with an engineer, architect or surveyor, depending on the need, are done to ensure that what the client is purchasing is of good quality, that measurements and boundaries are correct.
