Obtaining your resident´s visa is another additional service we can provide for you.

When you enter Ecuador you get a stamp on your passport that allows you to stay in the country for 90 days.  This period can be extended to a maximum of 180 days without any problem for an extra charge from the Immigration Office.  However, only the resident visa grants you permanent residency in the country.  This means you would be able to come in the country and leave as you wish.  However,  you cannot be absent from Ecuador for more than 90 days per year during the first two years of your residency, nor more than 18 consecutive months after your second year of residency.
